Dr. Ranjan Jha



Dr. Ranjan Jha is a roboticist and a scientist at CSIR- Central Scientific Instruments Organisation in Biomedical Application Department. He received his Doctorate degree as an Erasmus Mundus fellow in Robotics from Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France, in 2016. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Polytechnique Montreal, Canada in the Department of Mechanical engineering. His work on advanced robotics focuses on methodologies and technologies in medical and industrial robotics including control architectures, design aspects, trajectory planning, haptics, and human- friendly robot design. His research is in Industrial robotics, Kinematics, Symbolic computations, Mathematical modelling and Biomedical Instrumentation. Recently, Dr. Ranjan received BRICS young scientist award under Artificial Intelligence (AI) theme to represent India at 5th BRICS-Young Scientist Forum 2020 at Chelyabinsk Russia.
